BACKGROUND: The Service Department at this Northern Michigan car dealership needed a durable, long lasting flooring option for their garage and repair area. There was a previous failing floor coating due to improper floor preparation that was installed by another contractor.

APPLICATION: To ensure that this commercial V-8 Hybrid XT polyaspartic polyurea floor coating holds up long term in their service garage, the Certified V-8 Installer properly prepared the concrete substrate prior to coating by using various sized shotblasters from Impacts Americas and BW Manufacturing, as well as handgrinders from Metabo to prepare the edges and around drains.

After properly preparing the surface of the garage, the Certified V-8 Installer applied our Hybrid XT Vinyl Chip coating system. This 4 coat system pairs our 100% solids Hybrid XT polyaspartic polyurea hybrid resin with our unique blends of vinyl chips. This gives an industrial strength, slightly textured seamless surface. For added durability, and UV stability, our Hybrid XT resin was installed as the topcoat so that this commercial garage floor coating will stand the test of time.
