Spring is upon us, and that can only mean one thing (other than baseball), spring cleaning. All winter long, damaging ice melting chemicals, salt, and dirt have been tracked into your establishment.
Depending on the type of flooring you have, spring cleaning can mean:
- Stripping and waxing
- Sanding and refinishing
- Scrubbing and recoating
- Hiring expensive, professional cleaners
None of this is necessary with V-8 High-Performance Floors
V-8’s 6.0 Epoxy and Hybrid XT floor coatings are both known for being easy to clean. In fact, as long as regular cleaning is completed, your V-8 High-Performance floors will continue to shine like new for years to come.
But there’s the issue: Regular Cleaning. V-8 makes that easy too!
- Basic Care of V-8 High-Performance Floors
- Remove dust and debris by sweeping or dry mopping the floor on a daily basis
- A wet mop as needed using warm water and a gentle detergent
- Rinse completely using warm water
- Scrub as required using non-abrasive scrubbing pads
On large flooring surfaces, using a machine scrubber is significantly more efficient. With V-8’s easy-to-clean flooring, set your machine speed to low and use non-abrasive pads with a solution of warm water and a gentle cleanser.
If Soap & Water doesn’t do it:
Yes, sometimes you need something a little bit stronger, especially in auto-repair shops and on factory floors. While we always recommend using the gentlest cleaner that does the job, the following chemicals can be used (still use a test spot to test new cleaners, & refer to chemical resistance chart before use).
