Vinyl Chips – With hundreds of colors and color combinations to choose from, decorative vinyl chips combined with our Hybrid XT or 6.0 High Performance Epoxy coating are perhaps the most versatile option when it comes to flooring color. From earth tones to insignia colors and everything in between, vinyl chips come in large and small sizes, and there is a color palette to suit every client.
Mica Flakes – When combined with our Hybrid XT coating, mica flakes have a finish similar in appearance to a granite counter top. Mica flakes are a naturally occurring mineral that offers floor coloring with a metallic shimmer. The mica flakes are spread onto wet coating, sanded and topped with a clear, resin coating. Platinum Pigment – Perfect when you’re looking for a special effect, V-8’s Platinum Color Pigment System results in a shiny metallic finish like no other. This differs from the metallic finish of the mica flakes because the pigment is a powder that mixes more completely with the Hybrid XT or 6.0 High Performance Epoxy coating. There are more flooring color options and several different design techniques. When finished, each platinum pigment floor is unique.
Quartz Granules – Also a mineral, quartz granules are combined with our Hybrid XT or 6.0 High Performance Epoxy coating for a beautiful and functional color flooring option. Because they can be mixed with the top coat of the floor’s finish, quartz granules are often used when a non-slip surface is required. A natural aggregate, quartz granules – each one about the size of a grain of sand – come in natural tones and bright colors. And they can be combined for a multi-colored finish.
