These floors can be installed in a new space with fresh concrete, or to renovate an existing hangar floor. These large, open-air spaces can be extremely susceptible to high concrete moisture, which presents a difficulty when installing new floors. Though floors may be dry, they have not had enough cure time to be ready for new floors.
This is when our Rev MVP (Moisture Vapor Protection) coating comes in handy. V-8 Rev M.V.P. is a fast-dry, two-part, 100% solids epoxy moisture vapor protection and remediation product. This coating reduces the cure time from 28 days to just 24 hours. The coating is perfect for plane hangars that need new floors fast.
A great option to use is our V-8 6.0 High Performance Epoxy. This coating is a high gloss, aesthetically pleasing industrial strength epoxy coating designed for heavy mil applications. It can be installed in our 16 mil smooth system, or our 60 Mil High Build Textured System and is a two-coat system with extreme durability. We have 13 different colors available.
Another great option is our V-8 Hybrid XT (Xtra Tough) vinyl chip system. Our Hybrid XT formula is a fast setting product that can be installed in one day, has no VOCs, will not yellow, can be installed down to 0°F, has a 1:1 mix ratio, and can be installed up to 32mils per coat.
These high-gloss floor are easy to clean. The bright, clean surface allows easy identification of parts or liquids on the floor. Available in a variety of colors and systems, these coatings can even be installed in a pattern, or to designate different areas of the hangar.
