One of the biggest issues when installing floors is mixing the resin. The mixing ratio is very important, but is often overlooked, causing major mixing mistakes. 

 Say a contractor was installing floors in a school. Each type of room required different types of flooring, and thus different mixing ratios. The bathroom floors required 2:1, the halls 3:1, and the classrooms 3:1. In the rush to complete all the floors on time, the contractor became confused with the various mixing ratios.  After mixing gallons of the expensive resin for each room, the team realized it had been created incorrectly.  None of the resins had been mixed with the correct mixing ratio, resulting in an unusable product.
