BACKGROUND: This Michigan public school wanted to update their floors from VCT, and carpet to a seamless and easy to clean V-8 High Performance Floor Coating in their hallways, cafeteria, and classrooms. These areas see heavy foot traffic and a lot of messes. To hold up to the constant traffic, the floors need to be extremely durable, low maintenance, and easy to clean. That is where our V-8 High Performance Floors product line shines! It is seamless and non-porous. This makes it so that there is no where to harbor the growth of bacteria and is extremely easy to clean.

APPLICATION: The existing VCT and carpet in the school was removed with ride-on floor scrapers. After removal of the previous flooring, the Certified V-8 Installer’s  crews started prepping and patching the floors. Prep/Master heavy duty diamond grinders and Impacts Americas shotblasters were used to create a profile in the concrete substrate suitable for coating. Once prepped, our V-8 Hybrid XT Vinyl Chip System was installed in 4 coats. After completion, the project was able to be returned to service quickly.
