APPLICATION: Since this exterior coating project is in an area with a fairly extreme freeze thaw cycle, the joints were left open to allow for movement in the concrete. The concrete was prepped at this Michigan home by shotblasting. It was shotblasted to provide the best surface profile for bonding of the coating. After prep, the local Certified V-8 Installers installed the V-8 Vinyl Chip system on the patio and in the garage with added V-Grip and encapsulated sand for traction. The walkways were coated with the durable and decorative V-8 Quartz Double Broadcast System in the color “Coconut”. These outdoor coatings will never yellow because they were installed with our UV stable Hybrid XT resin.
