BACKGROUND: This Holland pole barn flooring project utilized V-8 High Performance Floors’ coating products to take the space to the next level! The homeowners wanted a rustic, yet functional space to be able to entertain. This pole barn features a kitchen, seating area, loft, and basketball court.

APPLICATION: The Certified V-8 Installer prepped this Holland garage floor prior to installing the V-8 High Performance Floor Coating by diamond grinding, and then shotblasting. This process gives the garage floor’s concrete substrate the best profile, and dust free surface for bonding and penetration of the coating.

V-8’s Hybrid XT Vinyl Chip System was installed in 4 coats giving the floor a durable, yet easy to clean finish. The joints weren’t filled in this pole barn to allow for movement of the substrate without cracking. To give the look of polished concrete while still offering stain and chemical resistance, our unique Salt & Pepper B Vinyl Chip Blend from our Polished Concrete Series was used.

The crisp black lines for the indoor basketball court were installed using V-8’s Hybrid XT resin. This coating product is fast setting and allows for crisp lines with minimal tape bleed. It shows in this pole barn’s 3 point and free throw lines!
